Excuses

My original plan for this week’s post was “Why Lawful Characters Worship Chaotic Gods (and vice versa).” Instead what you’re getting is a list of excuses why I didn’t write that post:

  • I was working my second job part of last week and this weekend. That’s an additional 8 hours of just commuting on top of the work time.
  • As soon as I got home on Sunday night, I ran into the house to change and take my wife out for her birthday.
  • The main excuse is that I got my second dose of the Covid vaccine on Saturday. I’d heard that some people experienced side effects, but my first dose only gave me a sore arm for a couple days. I was expecting the same this time around, but the shot completely drained me of all energy for a couple days.

So no post this week. Unless you count this post as a post, in which case I don’t need to apologize and I can delete it. But then I won’t have a post, and I’ll need to apologize…

…(several years later, after finally escaping the infinite loop)…

…So no post this week. Sorry about that. Next week will probably be “Why Lawful Characters Worship Chaotic Gods (and vice versa).”

One minor editorial note: Okay, so the shot made me achy and run down for a couple days. Don’t use that as an excuse not to get vaccinated. Being achy and run down is a lot better than getting Covid, or (worse yet) getting the virus and being asymptomatic while spreading it to other people. A few aches and some fatigue are but small prices to pay to do my part in making the world better for everyone. Get your shots when you can.

Unfortunately, we've had a recent increase in spam. To address this, I've turned on comment moderation for posts that are over a week old. You can still comment (please do!), but the comment might be invisible until I make it public. This will usually be within 24 hours. Sorry.
